On Wednesday the appointment is at the ancient "aula del Quattrocento" at 19:30 in the Old Central University located in the pitoresque Tower Square.
Here we will have the Welcome Cocktail (international cuisine) up to 22:00.
For those who are interested some of the ancient and very pretty University rooms will be kept open (aula Foscolo, aula Volta, aula Scarpa) where the most famous professors teached in the past. To quickly visit them please come at 19:00 in the Old Central University and ask Francesco Leporati or Gianni Danese.
On Thursday we have planned a sightseeing tour in Pavia.
After the coffee break we will start from the Engineering faculty at 17:25 reaching the buses in via Abbiategrasso. Then we will go in piazza Castello and we will see the ancient Visconti Castle and the San Pietro in Ciel d'Oro where saint Augustine is buried (remember that the Euromicro seat is in Sankt Augustin, Germany!). Finally we will go in the downtown city reaching the Roman bridge where the tour will end more or less at 19:30. We will then proceed to the Antica trattoria Ferrari for the Social Dinner (typical Lumbard cuisine). At the end (23 - 23:30) a bus will wait us at the exit for those whose hotels are far. The bus will stop in Station Square and in Minerva square just to allow people to reach their hotel more quickly.
For those who will accompany you the cost is 27 euros for the Welcome Cocktail and 60 euros for the Social Dinner.
